London Pensions Fund Authority makes new board appointment

The London Pensions Fund Authority has appointed Tegs Harding as a new member of its board.

Harding is an established professional trustee and head of sustainability for the Independent Governance Group, and brings with her experience across various pension scheme sectors – including defined contribution master trusts, defined benefit and collective defined contribution schemes.

She also brings with her extensive experience chairing investment committees for several large schemes, including a large defined contribution master trust. Additionally, she chairs the funding and investment committee for the UK’s first CDC scheme.

Reflecting on the news, the fund’s chair John Preston said: “Tegs Harding is a fantastic addition to the LPFA Board. Her experience in pension governance, deep actuarial knowledge, and strong commitment to sustainable investing will be invaluable as we navigate the evolving LGPS landscape.”

Harding added: “I am excited to join the LPFA Board. I look forward to collaborating with the team and using my experience to ensure the Fund continues to deliver excellent service, strong financial performance, and sustainable outcomes for all beneficiaries.”
