Scheme Advisory Board launches representation survey

Published: August 27, 2025

The Scheme Advisory Board has launched a survey examining the diversity of representation within pension committees and boards.

The survey also seeks views on peer support at the scheme level.

This initiative is designed to ensure governing bodies reflect the communities they serve and benefit from a wide range of skills and experiences. The survey aligns with good practice expectations set out in The Pensions Regulator’s General Code.

According to the Board, responses will be held securely and reported only in aggregate at scheme level to help inform ongoing work promoting best practice and developing guidance.

The survey has been issued directly to all pension fund managers and should be completed once per fund by 8 September.
