UBS Global Asset Management has listed three exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the London Stock Exchange offering medium-duration exposure to US investment grade corporate bonds. The ETFs are available in a sterling denominated version, a US dollar denominated version and a sterling hedged version. The new funds follow three fixed income ETFs issued by UBS in November which gave full duration exposure to the Barclays US Liquid Corporates Index.

Andrew Walsh, head of UBS ETF sales UK & Ireland, said: “After the success we have had with our suite of currency-hedged equity ETFs, we are very happy to be expanding further in the currency-hedged fixed income space.” Walsh added that the sterling hedged ETFs would help investors concerned about adverse currency movements when investing abroad, particularly in fixed income.
